Statement of Faith

We believe that the ultimate goal of Christian Education is to move students of all ages into a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.  Everything that is taught and emulated to our children should be founded in God’s Word.  We believe that the role of the school is to be an extension of the local church and the home.  Our goal is to train up our students in the essential and indisputable teachings of the church – the body of Christ.

Mission Statement

Shenango Valley Christian School Association seeks to provide quality Christ-centered education to students utilizing the Accelerated Christian Education model, which is goal-centered and individualized to allow each student to excel at a rate commensurate with his or her skill level.

Full-day Kindergarten through 12^th grade classes are offered. While we do not offer a preschool program, an independent preschool is housed in the same facility.

Each child will receive placement testing to ensure the best educational opportunities are provided.  Our Biblically based, accelerated curriculum is designed to educate children in a nontraditional classroom setting.  The classroom is set up in learning stations.  Each child also has an individual space, which they may decorate.

Each learning center is staffed with one teacher and one teacher’s assistant as needed.  All of our teachers have a college degree and professional training is provided by ACE Ministries (Accelerated Christian Education) which is the provider of our curriculum.

Specialty classes such as chapel, art, music and physical education are offered on a weekly basis.  Frequent special assemblies and field trips add to the variety of your student’s educational experience.
